Mining & Municipal Water Treatment Chemicals — VCYCLETECH

Mining & Municipal Water Treatment Chemicals

Mining and municipal water treatment clarifies raw, process and waste water by coagulation, flocculation and color removal — settling suspended solids, fines and tailings and meeting discharge limits. VCYCLETECH manufactures the inorganic coagulants, polymer flocculants and decoloring agents below for mining, municipal and industrial clarification.

Coagulants

PAC (poly aluminium chloride), PFS (poly ferric sulphate), ACH, Aluminium sulphate

Flocculants

PAM (polyacrylamide), PolyDADMAC, Polyamine

Color removal

Water decoloring agent for dyeing, paper-mill and high-color wastewater

Dosing guidance

  • Coagulant (PAC/PFS): jar-test to the optimum dose for turbidity and pH; typically tens to a few hundred ppm.
  • Flocculant (PAM): a small dose (0.1–2 ppm) after coagulation to grow large, fast-settling flocs.
  • Decoloring agent: dose to neutralize dye charge before PAC/PAM on colored streams.

Dosages are typical starting points — we tailor them to your water analysis. Send your parameters for an optimized program.

Frequently asked questions

What chemicals are used in municipal water treatment?

Municipal and mining water treatment uses inorganic coagulants (PAC, PFS, alum) to destabilize colloids, polymer flocculants (PAM, PolyDADMAC) to settle them, and decoloring agents for colored wastewater. VCYCLETECH supplies all of these.

What is the difference between a coagulant and a flocculant?

A coagulant (PAC, PFS, alum) neutralizes the charge on suspended particles so they can come together; a flocculant (PAM) then bridges them into large flocs that settle quickly. They are usually dosed in sequence.

Do you supply coagulants and flocculants for mining tailings?

Yes — PAC, PFS, PAM and PolyDADMAC for mining process water and tailings clarification, in bulk with a COA and OEM/ODM packaging.
