Dosing guidance
- Scale/corrosion inhibitor (organic phosphonate + copolymer blend): typically 5–20 ppm as product, set by hardness and cycles of concentration.
- Copper corrosion inhibitor (TTA/BTA): 1–3 ppm where yellow metals are present.
- Oxidizing biocide: maintain 0.2–0.5 ppm free residual; alternate with a non-oxidizing biocide shock to control biofilm.

How do you prevent scale in a cooling tower?

Which biocide is best for cooling water?
