WT-2000 Carboxylate-Sulfonate Copolymer
WT-2000 Carboxylate-Sulfonate Copolymer is a water treatment chemical that inhibits scale and disperses particles. It is a copolymer of acrylic-acrylate-sulfosate, making it an effective inhibitor of calcium phosphate, calcium carbonate, and other inorganic minerals. It has good inhibition for silica and magnesium silicate, solid acid (sulfonate), and weak acid (carboxylate) functional groups that provide optimal anti-scale/dispersant properties. WT-2000 is also available in the organic solvent, with US$1,800-2,000 per ton. This makes it an ideal choice for industrial formulators looking for cost-effective solutions for water treatment chemicals.
Product Description
Properties:
WT-2000 is a copolymer of acrylic-acrylate-sulfosate, which provides excellent scale inhibition for calcium phosphate, calcium carbonate, and other inorganic minerals. It can effectively stabilize calcium phosphate in formulas containing phosphate and stabilize zinc for formulations with zinc components. Additionally, it can disperse inorganic microparticles without being affected by pH changes.
WT-2000 is extremely useful as a mineral dispersant and stabilizer for calcium phosphate in all organic water treatment formulas.
Specification:

Usage:
WT-2000 can be used as a scale inhibitor in circulating cool and boiler water. When used alone, 10-30mg/L is the preferred dosage. When used in other fields, the dosage must be determined through experimentation.
Packing and Storage:
Packaging includes a 200L plastic drum and an IBC (1000L) container; customization is also available. WT-2000 should be stored in a dry and well-ventilated area with no sunlight for up to ten months to ensure long-term efficacy.
FAQs:
Q1:What is a carboxylate-sulfonate copolymer?
A carboxylate-sulfonate copolymer is a type of synthetic polymer made from a combination of carboxylic acid and sulfonic acid monomers. This type of polymer is used in many industrial and commercial applications, such as water treatment chemicals, agricultural chemicals, paints, detergents, and more.
Q2:What are the benefits of using WT-2000 Carboxylates-Sulfonate Copolymer for water treatment?
The WT-2000 Carboxylates-Sulfonate Copolymer offers superior performance for water treatment applications due to its unique molecular structure. It has excellent solubility characteristics, a low toxicity profile, a high capacity for the adsorption of metal ions and other pollutants, good thermal stability, and chemical resistance. Additionally, this copolymer can be tailored to meet specific customer needs by varying its molecular weight or adding additional functional groups. This makes it an ideal choice for water treatment operations.
Q3:What are the different forms that WT-2000 Carboxylates -Sulfonate Copolymer is available in?
The WT-2000 Carboxylates- Sulfonate Copolymer can be provided in both solid form (granules) or solution form, depending on the application requirements. The solution form can further be varied based on viscosity grade or solution concentration levels so that it’s suitable for any given water treatment process.
Q4:Is there any special equipment required for use with the WT -2000 Carboxylates -Sulfonation Copolymers?
While no special equipment is necessary when using the WT 2000 Carboxylates- Sulfonation Copolymers, it’s important to ensure that all process conditions are monitored closely during operations in order to obtain maximum performance out of the product. Temperature control must also be maintained in order to ensure proper dissolution rates and optimal performance from the copolymer throughout its life cycle.
Q5:What safety considerations should be taken when using WT -2000 Carboxylates- Sulfonation Copolymers?
All safety instructions provided with the product should always be followed when using the WT- 2000 Carboxylates-Sulfonation Copolymer for water treatment operations in order to avoid any potential hazards associated with the handling chemicals or exposure to hazardous materials released during operation processes.
