Properties:

DTPMPA is a safe and easy-to-dissolve substance in acidic solutions, providing excellent scale, corrosion inhibition, and good thermal tolerance capabilities. It is particularly effective in inhibiting the formation of carbonates, sulfates, and phosphates when used in alkaline conditions and at high temperatures (over 210°C). DTPMPA substantially impacts scale and corrosion inhibitors more than alternative organophosphine compounds.

Usage:

DTPMPA can be used as a scale and corrosion inhibitor in circulating cooling water systems and boiler water, particularly in alkaline conditions, without additional pH regulation. It is also suitable for use in oilfield refill systems, cooling systems, and high-barium carbonate concentration boiler water, where little or no scale sedimentation is observed even when used without dispersants.

DTPMPA also serves as an effective peroxide stabilizer, chelating agent for the woven & dyeing industry, pigment dispersant, microelement carrier for fertilizers, and concrete modifier. Its applications extend to papermaking, electroplating, acid cleaning, and cosmetics.
